about the artisan

thoma handmakes these lovely kitties in uganda. she is thriving as a single woman, living outside of Kampala where she runs her own small shop selling her kitenge designs and products. She employs five women in her shop, too!  Thoma is our most on-trend textile designer and we love her adorable kitties!
